SeaHealthRx™, our new upgrade to Seahealth Plus®, is a useful component of the Metabolic Engineering system. This liquid supplement is designed to support your metabolic health through a unique combination of trace minerals from the sea, aloe vera and polyphenols from maqui berries.

SeaHealthRx™ is a 100% natural, cold pressed supplement of exceptional quality with a delicious natural black cherry flavor.

If you're already taking OmegaRx®, SeaHealthRx™ makes a great compliment.

Dr. Sears’ exclusive liquid formula provides:

  • Sea Vegetables: Contains up to 74 trace minerals from freshly harvested sea vegetables, not commonly found in plant-based vegetables.
  • Aloe Vera (IASC-certified): Supports anti-inflammation, digestion, and antimicrobial defense.
  • Maqui extract: A source of polyphenols rich in delphinidins to help support cellular repair and reduction of oxidative stress.

Together, they deliver marine-based trace minerals, Aloe Vera’s anti-inflammatory, digestive, and antimicrobial benefits, and highly bioavailable polyphenols in a convenient liquid formula.

  • Adults should take 1 fluid ounce (2 tablespoons) daily.
  • Take straight or mix 1 oz into 10–12 fl oz water or a beverage of your choosing.
  • Take before a meal or 15–30 minutes after eating.
  • 32 servings per bottle.
  • Refrigerate after opening.

SeaHealthRx delivers marine-based trace minerals and the anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial benefits of Aloe Vera, in addition to polyphenols.

Polyphenols are the third component of Metabolic Engineering.

  1. The Zone Diet regulates your hormones to activate AMPK.
  2. OmegaRx® controls the inflammation response.
  3. Polyphenols activate the cellular repair mechanism that makes both work better.

The system isn’t complete without all three components working together.

Purity You Can Trust

Every batch of SeaHealthRx™ undergoes heavy metal testing with results published on our website—full transparency that you can trust.

We also use IASC-certified aloe vera as a liquid base. Aloe vera supports digestion and enhances the absorption of marine minerals and polyphenols.

When Dr. Sears' name is on the bottle, it has to meet his standards.

Purity Counts when choosing Polyphenols

We test every lot of finished product and have begun posting the report results because our consumers deserve to know what they're taking. To have Dr. Sears’ name on every bottle, it has to meet his strict standards for concentration and purity and stability, plus be certified for sports usage. See how our SeaHealth Plus measures up.

Polyphenols are the chemicals that give vegetables and fruits their colors. They also represent the plant’s primary defense mechanism against invading bacteria and other parasites. Their intake is important in controlling the bacteria composition of our digestive system.
It is becoming recognized that polyphenols are essential nutrients for humans. They are powerful anti-oxidants, have anti-inflammatory effects, and activate the key enzyme (AMPK) that controls our metabolism, increases chemical energy production, and slows down the aging process. Equally important, you need adequate levels of polyphenols to maintain the appropriate balance of bacteria in your gut that is key to maintaining long-term health. If that balance is disturbed by a lack of polyphenols in your diet, the result will be increased cellular inflammation throughout your body.
Dr. Sears recommends aiming for a minimum of 1,000mg per day for general wellness. To give a sense of what 1,000mg of polyphenols per day looks like, it could be approximately 5 ½ cups of broccoli, 1 ½ cups of blueberries, 2 ¼ cups of strawberries or a combination of various fruits and vegetables. A good rule of thumb is that consuming 10 servings ofvegetables and fruits per day will provide about 1,000mg of polyphenols per day.
No. There are about 4,000 known polyphenols. All have some anti-oxidative properties, but relatively few are anti-inflammatory, and even fewer have anti-aging benefits. Furthermore, you need highly purified polyphenol extracts like those used in Zone Polyphenols to get the full potential of their anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties.
To get the full potential of the anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties of polyphenols, you have to use highly purified extracts. They are more expensive than typical concentrates because of the extra processing, but without such purification you are unlikely see any of their potential benefits.
Delphinidins are the only polyphenols that are common to red wine, dark chocolate, and blueberries. Delphinidins have a unique structure compared to all other polyphenols that allows them to provide unique anti-inflammatory and anti-aging benefits. The richest source of delphinidins is the maqui berry found only in the Patagonia region of Chile.

Great product! I appreciate getting sea vegetables containing trace minerals, aloe vera, and polyphenols in one exclusive supplement drink. I’m just wondering why the ingredients changed for the sea vegetable proprietary blend. It used to contain a wider variety of sea vegetables. Now it contains just kelp and bladderwrack. Are those two the most beneficial or is there another reason for the change?

Zack, Thank you for you comment and question. There was a slight change to the sea vegetable blend due to the availability of high quality ingredients to match Dr. Sears' specs. Maintaining the highest quality ingredients is always Dr. Sears goal with any Zone products. Thank You, Dr. Sears Zone

    Tasty drink

Fine flavor, easy to drink. I like all of the natural ingredients, which look very healthy.

The exception is that the product has potassium sorbate as a preservative. I worry about how healthy that is.
